What I learned abroad

12 things I learned in  the past 12 months

12It does not necessarily mean that you will have more time for yourself if you live close to work          and to go home early. Because it can also mean that you will be compelled to work more than              what is asked for – which is sometimes good, and sometimes bad,(most of the times bad!)                     and OT means Oh Thankyou!

11. Whatever doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger
You  have to learn how to roll with the punches. There are days that are tougher than other        days.Days that your phelebotomy skills went wrong, machines not working, and your roomates transfer to the other room without even telling you!I have learned that crying your ass off will not help, you just have to suck it up,keep my head up and continue on with life like it didn't bother me at all.

10. You'll learn a lot of things about yourself.
I spend me-time to recharge.I prefer boys to be with(less drama more fun)
I am insensitive ( less issue less stress).Im plastic ( more of being not rude,I guess.Im still           learning how to be assertive and straight forward without hurting someone
No amount of money in the world is worth more than being true to yourself.

9. I learned how to keep calm sing loud and carry on.
Doing night duties alone is an extra-challenge for someone who used to sleep at night duties back  in OLLH.(haha!) Imagine the work of 4 persons, and youll gonna do it alone head's up..and praying no IR the next day.I learned what 'grace under pressure' really means. And well,Im still learning how to do it the pro-way!

8.Complaining will not make you or anyone else better.
Funny to say, that everytime I complain ,I  still found myself  doing what i whine about. So,just do      it rather than complain about it.It saves time.

7. Becoming an adult is hard.
There are days that I miss the comforts of home. You must do a lot of things in life that you don’t want  to do. Consider these to be character building exercises.Youll be surprised finding yourself getting an insurance and saving a little without your mom telling you to do so.Because you know how hard it is to earned that AED!

6. Wait a week to buy it.You probably wont want to.
Sale is just around the corner.Spend wisely.Sometimes it applies to me,sometimes not.

5. Love is a choice.
One of your busy days, youll find yourself falling out of love..because youre f*ckin falling in love      to someone you wrote in your diary when you are young (your ideal man,the one who ticks your        kicks and makes you smile when you're tired) Of course, you don't choose who you fall      in love with but you choose who you stay in love with..

4.Boys will always be boys.but sometimes, they're really sensible.
Living in a house with guys around, I learn how each guy harbors unexpected traits. And well im lucky to say, that not all guys are the same. There are few endangered ones who are responsible and surprisingly good eggs! (pls, dont get me wrong with eggs!*)

3.Pray.
It eases hard day at work. And a day when you terribly miss your family.

2.Working abroad isn't glitter and gold.
When I was younger, every time I saw balikbayans during fiesta, I told myself, one day Ill be as rich-looking as them.haha! working abroad is't having a wishbone darling, its more of having a backbone! There are days that you sleep at 2am and wake at at 6am.You only got one day off to do your laundry and a long list of to-do. But looking on the brighter note, its always glitter and gold when you saw your parents happy and well. That's what matters most i guess.

1.No matter how you plan to avoid it,you do GROW UP.
I can say that I am a fully functioning adult out on my own in a very real world.Somewhere along    the way, when I wasn't looking ,I grew up.
