TOP 12 people of my 2012

Few days from now, we'll be going to kiss goodbye to 2012.Since today is my last off of the year,ill spend it writing my year-ender post.Im doing my little list and collecting pictures for quite some time now and here..MEET a DOZEN of great people that inspire,influenced and moved me this 2012.And the priceless lessons I learned from them.

Meet them closer..my top 12 of 2012 :)

1.MAMA BING and PAPA GER

These two will always be on top of my list.They keep me  eyeing and shooting for the stars.I hugely appreciate them for giving me the gift of freedom this year.I learned a lesson  of going solo and taking charge of myself so as  to breakaway from my comfort zone.It was pretty obvious though that im a mama and papa’s girl  coz  not a day goes by that I don’t receive a text message from them.Im one lucky daughter !

 

2.Mark Ron Jefferson Gonzaga

This year is a perfect mixture of sweet&sour.SWEET ( for  spending his 1^st vacation on my 22^nd birthday..and  our 5^th year as bestfriendsandlovers.) SOUR (for going through hell lately!)I learned that distance will never be a reason in falling out of love.And most importantly,to keep the relationship goin,if something is broken..fix it  rather than  throwing it away.:)

3.Shashating Dulay 

I call her “shashating”.My youngest bebe cousin.I was surprised with the sweetness of this cute lil girl when I got my vacation at la union.And besides,she is a smart and witty kiddo.lesson learned? I would’ve take kid’s innocence with me and their always curious minds. The way they asked you questions you can barely answer.Reminds me badly  with my childhood .

 

4.Krizzle Mae Joy Fontanos

My baby bro Gervin’s  girlfriend.I met her for the first time this 2012.I thank her for being my lil bro’s inspiration.Even if she’s still inside her shell and somewhat shy,Im happy for Iben, having a girlfriend who is  pretty and smart at the same time.I love smart ladies!And to add  being  thoughtful not only to my brother but to mama and papa.Lesson behind is, everyone’s busy growing too fast.If you don’t stop for a while,you won’t catch up the good things around.My baby ading  surprisingly,fell in love for the first time.(*insert silly smile here*)

 

5.Mommy Aida

I am happy to celebrate mom’s birthday for 2012 together with the whole family.And I am grateful to see her healthy and still kicking.i love the times when I slept beside her as we share stories  and as she asked me my future plans.I feel really blessed with grandma like her.and of course I’ll never forget  my ever dabest TATAY Ben.They occupy a big part of my heart.lesson?Grandmas are the most heart-touching advisers.Lucky I got one!

6.Sir Francis Kong

The author of my very first book of january 2012.Luckily,I met him for the first time and  had my first  book signed by its author.I love his witty outlook with life that inspire my little heart.The lesson I will never forget from him  is: LIFE IS TOO SHORT,take a good grasp of it!

7.OLLH FAMILY

My second family away from home.These people ,though serious and stressed most of the times were the most sensible and responsible people I ever met.People come and go in the lab this 2012.New faces all around.But one thing Im sure about,they molded me professionally and personally this year.Im just as thankful for having real friends around  who make  a toxic  duty a worthy one.

8.Jomar Mallare

Early this year,I spent  a day with him at Enchanted Kingdom and a night-out experience.This rarely happens,that’s why I consider him on the list.He is the friend I have that I can talk to with everything.When I am happy or heart-broken,he got ears ready to listen.Evrytime I think of the friendship we have,I remember the line from the perks of being a wallflowers that goes.. "I know these will all be stories someday.And our pictures will become old photographs.We'll all become somebody's mom or dad.But right now these moments are not stories. This is happening...This one moment when you know you're not a sad story.You are alive and you stand up and see the lights of the buildings and everything that makes you wonder.And you're listening to that song and that drive with people you love most in this world.And in this moment I swear,we are infinite."(FYI: I watched this movie alone.An epic for 2012)

9.Ate Cathy Betty Sanchez

A stranger  who turned out to be a friend.I am thankful that because of the  “hello kidney shirt”, I met  someone with a great passion in life.I  read her witty blogposts that made me indulge into writing and blogging. She is someone I met this year who I really admire.Behind her health conditon,I sense a tough cookie in her and her exceptional faith is amazing ..She inspires me bigtime this 2012.

10. TP

Everytime I read TP as an acronym,the first thing that clicks on my mind is TROPANG POTCHI.But TP here means TEAM PRO.Pro-yabang(haha!)Mark’s barkada.A fun-filled  swimming galore  night with this cool group last June.I love the way they joke around and I felt  real friendship in them. I look forward for the next destinations to come,don’t forget to count me in.

 

11.Phoebe Nedia

A friend in an enemy.2012 is all about closing an old chapter and of patching things up to someone who belongs to the past.Ive been rude to her and found out that I am stucked on my own quagmire.I was hurt so did I also hurt her.She made me feel close to my devil.But then again,forgiveness is the sweet smell a flower leaves on the shoe that crashed it.

 

12.Dor,Sarah and Victor

The characters  of   THE TIME KEEPER (my favorite book of 2012).It is a life-moving story.Kudos to Mitch Albom for  this book.And its lesson to live by.. “With endless time, nothing is special. With no loss or sacrifice, we can’t appreciate what we have”.
