lucky friday the 13th

I just came home from a talk sponsored by the hospital. And i will label it as an evening with Mr.Kong.Who is luckier than me meeting an author of one of the books from my reading collection?I started the year by collecting books monthly,so that at the end of the year i will have 12 books with me and the priceless thoughts I've learned. My January and my first book of the year is DUH?! by Francis Kong.Actually I have several attempts to write something about this orange book and oh-its-absolutely-true lessons i picked from it.Ill try again some other time.
Basically,it was such a privilege to  hear him " talking the talk" in front of me.He's definitely an inspiring public speaker and of course a writer at heart aside from being a smart businessman.Tonight i have learned  a bunch of words of wisdom from him again. These are some of the few points that still resounding on  my mind.

Life is simple.Humans make it complicated.
Life is too short.Live it to the fullest.
Get a calculator and learn to count what you have.
Mr.Francis Kong.Meeting "the man" on the friday the 13th.Lucky me!
Feed your mind with positive thoughts.Stay away from negative people.
Finding success is like mining. At first you encounter dust and dirt. But dont let them stop you for digging up for the gold.(*this inspires me bigtime)
Always spend quality time with your family.Make sure that when you go home you leave your tag as a professional and act as a human.
his autograph on my book.:)
Complain less.
Fly high but be careful on how you land.
God is Good. Thank God for all the blessings.Gratitude must always be on your list.

And many more lessons. These are only some of the good ones i can remember.
I am so thankful to Ms Beth (Clinical Microscopy Section Head) for accompanying m  on this one of a kind privilege. And have my book autographed.*big smile*

Today is such a lucky day to learn again, grow a bit more, and had my soul inspired .Thank you God for opportunities like this.Surround me with more.

Goodnight!
