LIFE IS A GIFT..

This morning,God reminded me of something...

There is this early call from ER PEDIA. And there i went for blood extraction. 16-year old patient,namumugto ang mga mata na hindi na maimulat,nanginginig ang bunganga,tumutulo ang luha sa pisngi at  umiiyak ang relative sa labas ng ER.Out of my curiosity, I asked the ER nurse what happened. NAGPAKAMATAY daw.Uminom ng alak at sinabayan ng sunsilk na shampoo at fabcon.Napailing na lang ako.Youngsters were so vulnerable with suicide cases.This is not the first case i encountered.And what hurts most is they did this because of  LOVE.Hindi ko lang maintindihan,why they need to end up their lives because of heartbreaks.Alam ko i dont know how it feels,but i feel how their parents worry for their child as they wait,wait and just wait for the result and watch you struggle for life.Heartaches were not valid reason to end the gift of life.Life seems to be tough,yes but .... I remember the baby with  hydrocephalus as her mom caressed her as she sobs everytime i had to pinch her toe for a drop of blood...the 20-year old ICU patient  na hindi kaya igive up ng parents niya because he fights for his life..And I remeber too, i watched one episode of showtime ..someone's praying  to prolong the life of his brother.. And to think magpapakamatay ka lang??Jesus  sacrificed His life for us.He gives his life,for us to savor.Yes it may be tough at some point,but suicide isn't the easiest way to escape such stupidity. Why not PRAY? Because God is always GOOD.He answers prayers..it can be a YES and a big fat NO..He knows best! :)
